Jackie is a BA (Hons) Multimedia Design graduate working as a Senior Motion Graphics Designer at Uber in London, UK, where he calls home.

GeckoKid came about as a nickname he adopted for years since he was in his secondary school.

Art and design have been the better part of his life and he has always enjoyed drawing since he was a toddler.

His first moment of fame came from an acrylic painting he did that was displayed at an exhibition in Hong Kong when he was only 9. His digital paintings were featured in the ImagineFX magazine and he has also been commended in photography competitions and had his highly commended work displayed at the National Theatre at the South Bank in London.

Jackie’s father was an electrician and as such he was never too far from a computer. At first only using it as a toy, eventually that grew on to him as the technology matured, and he received his first PC, and he was never seen without drawing with a mouse since until he was bought a Wacom tablet.

Jackie is a big fan of Tomb Raider and it has inspired him on various fields such as game design, architecture and 3D animations. It also triggered his interest in travelling around the world and picking up photography.

When he is not busy at work, you might find him wandering down streets around the globe where he could afford to be with his trusty Kata camera bag.
