This photo has been awarded Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009 as a Highly Commended piece, and was displayed in the London National Theatre from mid December 2009 to mid January 2010. This photo is also featured in the book that was published with the competition, Landscape Photographer of the Year Collection 03.

Sorry Jackie. Just found it, and I had the name wrong! Location was Billinghurst. Still love the photograph, and your courage in going for vertical format in what is essentially a horizontal world. And the way you’ve sliced the image to show it here. Really must rush now. Michael Young.
